BBC Top Gear Lancia episode

No doubt most Lancia owners who watched the recent program would have enjoyed seeing Lancias on the Beeb, albeit presented at both their best and exaggerated worst for entertainment purposes.

Whatever one’s views on the accuracy of the detail, we’re sure at least that the Top Gear presenters are clearly in the know by selecting Lancia as their chosen greatest car manufacturer of all time and for that we congratulate them on being right.

The Lancia Delta Integrale shown on the programme was actually our ex-test car from 1997-2000. When its complete performance specification (including one-off developments) was purchased by another customer, the car was then totally returned to original specification and sold. However, many performance developments made then, remain relevant today.

As to the half-dozen older Lancias shown, we would like to thank one customer for assisting so quickly when the BBC Top Gear team asked us for a selection of Lancia vehicles.
